Getting Started! Welcome to the FFRPG!

Or FFRPG for short. As you can probably surmise, we are a Final Fantasy forum game that exists for the fun of all within our game. We accept and any and all members that are interested with open arms.

The creators of the Final Fantasy series own all rights to their very successful franchise; we merely wish to create a game that is fun and engaging for all of those who want to be a part of it.

Now, before you go into the game; get to know it a little better.

Where It All Started...
This RPG started off as an idea between three of the staff members; Toshii, Kashiki, and Zergio. The three of them spent a good bulk of six to eight months planning most of the RPG and its interior, with Kashiki being the one to save it all. After a computer back-up failure, all of their files were lost; causing them to have to redo the entire RPG outline once more. This took nearly an entire five months to accomplish, with Toshii saving the data this time. "This won't be a long road," Kashiki would often say. Soon, the project fell into hiatus. As of the Summer of 2012, the group of three; accompanied by a few more helpers, had finally finished the RPG outline; going straight away into creating it. Led by the Chief, Toshii; the five of them work endlessly to ensure that the RPG prospers.


FFRPG v. Final Fantasy
Now, many of you may be wondering; how exactly is this game played? What are the rules?

Well the answer is that the game plays essentially like the FF games, themselves; with turn-based fighting being the main part of the Central RPG. However, do know that the world of the FFRPG is vastly different than the Final Fantasy games. For one, all weaponry/accessory effects have been altered to fit competitive fighting; with many of the elements found in the games are null as a result of the atmosphere we are trying to create. Stats and upgrades to the things your character has are very much based on your choices. Formula and various mathematical equations are put into play to determine many things, here.

Keep this in mind as you play. Things are different here.

Getting Started!
Now that you know the Getting Started portion, where do you go from here? What else are you missing?

Oh right! We didn't tell you about how you need to create your own character. That character will be your persona for your entire stay within the RPG. You can find the Character Template here. While you're at it, make sure to look at the different types of Weapons, Accessories, and Items.

Our RPG hosts battles within the Battle Arena. Tournaments, contests, and many types events can be held there; the most, of course, being combat itself. There is also a Free-Form RPG called FFRPG Tactics, currently under construction. One of our main appeals is our Clan system. Join or create your own clan to ensure that you are the dominant fighter. The battle for conquest is never finished!
